Why not on YouTube?

I don't have a YouTube channel and many people wonder why. Many people even suggest I have a YouTube channel and earn from it, as I sometimes mention I don't earn that much or even enough from my dog obedience training work. And often even feel offended when I get annoyed with that suggestion.

And don't get me wrong, I would love to have a YouTube channel and share my knowledge and yes, of course would love to earn from it, but it seems most people don't really realize what YouTube, or even internet in general, really is about. And they seem to realize even less what it means to create a (professional) YouTube channel or even a professional YouTube video, let alone earn from it.

And what many people probably won't know or even suspect, my main business has been 'internet' for the last sixteen years or so, so I think I have some authoritiy on the subject 'internet'. Until now this website has been created by me just writing 'plain HTML', without any Content Management System (CMS). And no, I am not a web designer, which is why the design is not really fancy or even good. And this relates to another misconception, that all internet people know how to do 'web design', but that is another story.

And this is what I just got:

And the first thing you probably notice, and I even noticed it, as I normally don't go straight to the homepage of YouTube, is that this page starts with advertisements. And that the YouTube video 'on top' has 1.4 million views.

And please believe me, those two things, the advertisements and the number of views, is what YouTube and the internet in 2021 are actually about. And both represent 'money'. And that is what and the internet in 2021 are all about: money.
